Hey Link, what ever happened to the Zoo babies song? And in the Cheese Rap, what effect did you use in Final Cut to blend your faces into the cheese? I have Final Cut Express HD. I was just curious if i had this capability.

Yeah there really is no Job Outlook for internetainment is there? That's funny to think about. But more and more people are getting the internet everyday. So if there was one, it has to look good.

i wish we could nail that down, but the future is too wide open and we're still figuring everything out. what will the internetainment landscape look like 5 years from now? I dunno, but i'd like for Rhett&Link to be a notable entity within it. and we would love to make another feature-length "docu-fantasy" as someone recently described it. against popular wisdom, perhaps, we'd like to do a little bit of everything. or maybe alot of everything. we'll see.

location scouting is fun and low pressure. most all the time, we're rushing to get something finished...scouting for a place shoot something, it gets us outta the basement and forces us to slow our roll a little bit. so that's one thing.

but, in general, I like the variety of doing all types of different things. writing a song...editing...shooting...producing a song...

One more thing. Did Baby Ruth contact you, or did you contact them. How did they find you?

Well since I went there the most out of the 3 restaurants, I'd have to side with Mr. Beef as well. Since the health-ocity of Mr Beef isn't the best I tried to only go there once a week at most, but when I did? Oh my...bacon cheeseburger and chocolate milk shake really hit the spot. I was also thinking that since they have headshots of all these celebrities up on the wall, you guys should print one off, sign it and send it their way. I'm sure Chuck would appreciate that. I'll have to tell you about the conversation I had with Chuck about the video after you posted it - hilarious!

when we got to Mr. Beef, I was totally full with pizza. But, I still have to say is was the best taste from Chicago, and potentially one of the best tastes from the whole trip. The combination of beef, bread, peppers, and the au jus was incredible. I am planning on going back. All three were excellent...but Mr. Beef is on top. What's your opinion as a local?

When it comes to in-field production (running camera, composition, etc), we divide things right down the middle...mostly because 90% of the time, we're filming each other. Thankfully, our brains work very much the same in this way, so there's usually very little communication...we just know what one another is thinking.

Link is more detail oriented (READ: ****), so this really lends him strength in editing. We both edit, but he has been tackling more of that lately. I'm more of a big picture guy, and I'm concept driven...so I've been doing more of the writing for our scripted stuff.

So, the Surrogate Sharers is a perfect example of how we have been working lately...I wrote rough drafts of an episode, then Link reviewed it to make it even better. Then, we filmed it together. Finally Link did a rough edit of the episode, then I reviewed the final edit to offer any changes to tighten it up.

I'm sure things will continue to evolve with our workflow, but we are trying to work smarter and more efficiently...

We totally forgot to walk out of there with one...then it turns out that we didn't see Nalts that much at the event, so it probably wouldn't have worked.
